Excel Tip & Trick: Named Range
Steps to create a Named Range:
A named range is a selection of cells that are highlighted and given a name in the name box
Step 1: Input the range of numbers or data list on a separate sheet in the workbook
Step 2: Select the range of cells that you wish to name
Step 3: Click in the Name Box (left of the formula bar) and enter a name with no spaces (you can use _ to separate words) and push "Enter" to set the named range
Once created, you can use this range name in any formula within the workbook and if you input another account into the named range, it will automatically update the workbook, in all places where it is used.
